T-Bone Steak with Chimichurri Sauce
Serves: 4 | Prep Time: 15 mins | Cook Time: 10 mins
Using: T-Bone and Y-Bone Steaks (1kg)
Ingredients:
- 2 T-bone steaks (approx. 500g each)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Chimichurri Sauce:
- 1 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp fresh oregano, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 small red chilli, finely chopped
- 120ml olive oil
- 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Method:
- Preheat the grill to high heat. Brush steaks with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Grill steaks for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare. Rest for 5 minutes.
- For the chimichurri sauce, mix all ingredients in a bowl and let sit for 10 minutes.
- Serve steaks topped with chimichurri, alongside grilled vegetables or salad.
