Slow-Cooked BBQ Brisket
Serves: 4-6 | Prep Time: 15 mins | Cook Time: 6-8 hours
Using: Fresh or Corned Brisket (1kg)
Ingredients:
- 1kg brisket
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 250ml BBQ sauce
- 250ml beef stock
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Method:
- Preheat oven to 150°C. Rub brisket with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Place in a roasting tray, add beef stock and Worcestershire sauce. Cover with foil.
- Slow-cook for 4-5 hours, basting occasionally. Remove foil, brush with BBQ sauce, and cook uncovered for 30 minutes.
- Rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with coleslaw and baked potatoes.
